Art Work Tittle: Coffee House

Visual Treatment:

iii) Theme Chosen: Technology and Society

iv) Idea & Concept: This idea came about when I see the environment in a coffee house where everyone would just stare at their computer without interacting with anyone or having friends to chat with. I would want to emphasize that technology that changes how we live nowadays. Therefore, I draw another table where this group is chatting happily without the distraction of technology compare to those with technology gadget. As you can see, I replicate the colour, design and technique of the artist of my choice which is Max Bill where his style and colour are very similar like this.

Visual Treatment:

iii) Theme Chosen: Technology and Society

iv) Idea & Concept: This idea came about when I see all the children nowadays always stick in front of the computer which is not like previously where we go out and play physically. I draw the computer is left inside the house while the children go out and play.

iv) Idea & Concept: This drawing inspire by a picture taken in a university where every student is holding their laptop in a class. This is the view from stage, looking on the student. Colour and concept inspire by Max Bill.

Technical Execution: Coffee House

First - Improvise version from sketch. Just outline. 

Second - Redraw the line in digital format.

Third - Paint the arts on wall.

Forth - Put some painting on the floor. 

Fifth - Add on some design on the chair.

Sixth - Draw and colour the table and chair.

Seventh - Paint the chair.

Eighth - Paint the wall

Final Drawing.

Technical execution: Go out and play

First: Improvise version of sketches and just outline without colour.

Second: Paint the grass and the clouds, table and chairs.

Third: Use line tools to outline the wall and the window.

Forth: Using Eclipse tool to draw the circle, and using lines to finish up the door.

Fifth: Using lines to lay down the wood-like flooring. Then next, I apply filter to give the effect of wood flooring. I also painted the sky just by using Brush tools.

Sixth: Using lines tool to outline the roof and colour it. I also added some tones to the sky to make it more natural and feel like the sky and clouds.

Technical Execution: Full of technology

First: Using the eclipse tool to draw circle with colour to form the stage look.

Second: Draw the human figure, the tablet and the presentation table.

Third: Draw the chairs and human figure.

Forth: Using Rectangle rounded tools to form the laptop look, with variety of colours.

Fifth: Colour the chair and the floor.

Sixth: Since the wall or the background is very plain. I decided to paint something to make it look more interesting. So I was inspire to paint something like Variation 13 Litho by Max Bill.
